Product Description

The Bosch Rexroth MSK100C-0300-NN-M3-RG0-NNNN is a MSK series servo motor with standard housing. The motor housing is completely sealed. The cable connectors on the motor are also sealed. The smooth motor shaft also includes a seal. As a result the motor complies with the requirements of IP65 protection class. Operators can use it under adverse conditions. The motor housing prevents ingress of dust. The housing also prevents ingress of water from low-pressure jets. The motor delivers rated output as long as the ambient temperature is between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius and the site elevation is less than 1000 meters. Operators can use the motor with natural convection or surface cooling. The torque and current output are higher with surface cooling. However a cooling fan or blower is needed for surface cooling.

Six different encoders are available for MSK motors. These include optical encoders, capacitive encoders, singleturn encoders and multiturn encoders. The MSK100C-0300-NN-M3-RG0-NNNN motor features a capacitive multiturn encoder with Hiperface support and 16 signal periods.  The major difference between singleturn and multiturn encoders is that singleturn encoders provide feedback within a single shaft rotation and multiturn encoders provide feedback after multiple shaft rotations. As a customer you can select from one of four options for the power connection. The power connection on the MSK100C-0300-NN-M3-RG0-NNNN motor is on the right side. The motor does not feature an optional holding brake. The motor has four pole pairs. The leakage capacitance of the components is 14.3 nanofarads. The motor winding inductance is 4.2 millihenry.
