Product Description

The Bosch MSK101D-0300-NN-M1-RG2-NNNN is a servo motor. It is designed for high-performance industrial applications such as robotics, machine tools, food processing machines and packaging machines. The motor works in combination with a compatible drive controller. Two cables connects the controller and motor: one is a power cable and the other is a feedback cable. Both cables connect to separate connectors on the motor housing. Both connectors are sealed to prevent contaminant ingress. The power connection on the motor is located on the right side of the housing. The motor has a smooth shaft with a sealing ring. The seal prevents leakage of motor oil. The seal also prevents contaminant ingress. The MSK101D-0300-NN-M1-RG2-NNNN belongs to the IP65 protection class. It can therefore be used in adverse operating environments.

The motor has a standard housing. Depending on requirements, operators can order other types of housings for their MSK motors. The motor has a 70 Nm holding brake. The purpose of the break is to prevent accidents and injuries that can occur due to unintentional shaft movement. The break holds on to the shaft to prevent it from rotating, and only releases the shaft after application of a 24 Volts DC release signal. The MSK101D-0300-NN-M1-RG2-NNNN motor is also equipped with an optical multiturn absolute encoder that supports Hiperface and is rated for 128 signal periods. The MSK101D-0300-NN-M1-RG2-NNNN motor supports two cooling methods: surface cooling and natural convection. Depending on requirements, operators can also order liquid cooled MSK motors. The MSK101D-0300-NN-M1-RG2-NNNN is painted black. A type plate is attached to the motor and lists important information including motor specifications and ordering information. The information listed on the type plate must be verified at the time of motor delivery.
