The MSK050B-0450-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN model is a synchronous motor designed to be used under unfavorable environmental conditions. The model is not equipped with any holding brake to clamp the servo-axis during the de-energized state. A high-quality EnDat2.1 Optical encoder with 2048 increments is installed in this model to detect the absolute position of the shaft. The rotor balanced with keyways is installed in this model and the moment of inertia of the rotor is 0.00028 kgm2. Only a company-prescribed drive controller is recommended to be used with this motor. The motor commissioning should only be carried out by a highly qualified person and to avoid any trouble, install the MSK motor according to the conditions specified in the MSK documentation. During installation, make sure that the motor is working properly and the mounting position is free from dust and reactive elements. The MSK050 synchronous motor has a winding inductance of 33.6 mH and it generates the constant torque of 1.2 Nm/A, at 20 degree Celsius. The maximum torque produced by the motor is 9 Nm at the peak speed of 6000 rpm.
