Product Description

One of the components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is the MSK servo motor. The motors in this series are compact units with a high torque density. They are available in various sizes and have a wide power spectrum. The MSK motors are used as rotary main and servo drive motors in applications such as machine tools, robotics, metal-forming machines, packaging and food-processing machines, and printing and paper-processing machines.

The MSK070E-0450-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN is an MSK servo motor model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a self-cooling servo motor that utilizes natural convection for heat dissipation. The motor encoder in this model is a multiturn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder provides the necessary signals to the drive controller to control the motor’s speed and detect its position. Thanks to its optical measuring principle, it can perform this function with a high level of precision and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This MSK motor can also be equipped with fan units for continuous operations with high repetition rates.

Using a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring, a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash can be achieved on the MSK070E-0450-NN-M2-UP0-RNNN.
