The MSK050B-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is a very powerful industrial motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to operate as a source of kinetic energy for industrial machines used in production industries. This motor is particularly suitable for industrial operation as it features a compact design with a housing unit that provides it with complete protection from the interference of solid materials and liquid substances that can cause the rapid deterioration of the motor. Under ideal operation conditions, this controller operates with an efficiency higher than 90 percent; it can maintain this high efficiency level for more than seven years without experiencing any major mechanical breakdown. The motor also contains special grease-lubricated ball bearings, which are designed to reduce the frictional heat generated at the motor's output shaft.

The MSK050B-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN industrial synchronous motor is designed with a holding brake; this brake helps to retain the load connected to the motor's shaft at a standstill. The motor also contains an internal optical encoder which provides the drive controller with information about the operational status of the motor in real-time; this optical encoder contains an internal memory that allows the motor to hold on to operational information even when it is not actively connected to the power supply. Although this synchronous motor can be used with a wide range of industrial applications, it is suitable for underwater operation or operation under extreme temperature fluctuations.

The heat generated by this controller is controlled via natural convection; however, the motor can be equipped with additional fan units to aid this temperature regulation process.
