The MSK101E-0450-NN-M2-BP0-RNNN model comes with the highest degree of protection (IP65) that allows it to operate under harsh environmental conditions. The MSK motor can be mounted in the vertical or horizontal direction (IMB5, IMV1, and IMV3). Its B05 flange design allows easy installation of the industrial machinery. The MSK101 synchronous motor allows easy cabling and a B-side power connector is attached at the top of the motor to take AC power directly from the attached digital intelligent drive controller. Only Rexroth-approved controllers are allowed to be used with this motor. The model is highly recommended by our clients and is widely used in several motion control systems as the main rotary or servo drive motor. The continuous torque delivered by this model is 70 – 80.5 Nm (at natural cooling) and 105 Nm (at surface cooling) while drawing the continuous current of 58.3 – 67.6 A and 87.5 A. For high dynamics and form-fitting torque transmission, a shaft balanced with a keyway is placed in this model. There are 4 pole pairs in this motor and the winding inductivity of the motor is 1.080 mH.

The model MSK101E-0450-NN-M2-BP0-RNNN is not equipped with any blocking brake and a temperature monitoring sensor is placed in the motor housing. The maximum temperature at which the motor can operate without derating is +40 degree Celsius. The MSK101 motor has 100 min thermal time constant.
