The MSK synchronous motors are a subclass of the IndraDyn S family. They are products of Bosch Rexroth and are engineered to exhibit a high level of precision. An MSK motor can function as a rotary main drive, rotary servo drive, kit motor, or linear drive. Typical applications of this product include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and metal forming machines.

The MSK071D-0450-NN-M1-UG2-NSNN is a model in the MSK motor series. It features a 071 motor frame size and a D motor length. It is also equipped with a 30Nm holding brake which is electrically released to keep its axes stable during mechanical standstills. The cooling system suitable for this motor is natural convection.
