Product Description

The MSK servo motors are a series of motors in the IndraDyn S servo motor family from Bosch Rexroth, and they set a high standard for other synchronous motors. They are manufactured with a combination of long-term experience in the field and new technology, making them stand out. Other features that distinguish the motor include its dynamics, compact construction, high torque density, and an extremely high degree of precision due to new optical encoder systems.

The MSK060C-0600-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN is a motor in the MSK series with a concentric design. It has four pole pairs which set the motor speed at a maximum of 6,000 RPM. It has two electrical connections, a power connector (which also includes a connection for a temperature sensor and holding brake) and an encoder connection. The motor’s encoder is an optical multiturn absolute encoder with EnDat 2.1. It gives the drive controller information on the current rotor position is, and the drive controller uses this information to control the motor speed and position the motor.

The plain shaft of the MSK060C-0600-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN connects the machine elements to be driven to the motor drive shafts. This is done with the aid of clamping sets, clamping sleeves, or clamping elements as they couple the machine elements to be driven. The motor is equipped with a holding brake that retains loads and stops the shaft from starting up at a standstill or after power has been disabled. The motor should be operated at an ambient temperature not greater than 40°C and set up at a maximum elevation of 1000m. The bearing lifetime of the motor is 30,000 operating hours if it is used as specified.
