The MSK070C-0450-NN-S2-UG1-RNNN synchronous servomotor offered by Bosch Rexroth has a 23Nm holding brake. The motor also has a single-turn absolute encoder with one distinguishable revolution and 2,048 signal periods. The product can operate at a maximum temperature of up to 55°C. The device has chances of featuring a discharge or leakage current over its conducting housing parts if its grounding conductor is not connected properly. Its housing should feature protection against corrosion due to aggressive materials like salt mists, cutting oils, lubricants and coolants. The holding brake in the unit is to be used only when the motor is in standstill mode and for performing drive internal check.

The motor flange holder must be checked to ensure that it is free of burrs before the motor mounting process. The product installation has to be carried out only in a clean and dry dust-free environment. The device connection must be done using readymade cables supplied by the manufacturer. The unit incorporates a terminal box that has to be opened only for connection purposes and must be closed as soon as the connection is done.
