Product Description

Creating state-of-the-art servo motors like those in the MSK series requires advanced technology. The synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, and are used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They are well-suited for robotics, metal-forming machines, and printing and paper processing machines.

The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN is a model of the compact synchronous servo motors in the MSK series. Its integrated encoder system is a single-turn encoder with the optical measurement method and the Hiperface interface. This encoder operates with a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds to detect the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. It replaces the need for separate incremental encoders and has a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored. The maximum speed of this MSK model is 4,200 revolutions per minute, and it can reach a maximum torque of 84.0Nm. Its output shaft is the plain type, and it gives a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash.

Thanks to its sealed housing, the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN cannot be damaged by solid extrinsic materials like conductive dust or water jet sprays. Hence, its Ingress Protection rating, according to EN 60529, is IP 65. It is cooled by natural convection and features a KTY84 thermal sensor to protect it from thermal overload. Like other MSK models, the housing varnish of this motor consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This coat is highly resistant to dilute acids, alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, sewage, and water. It also displays limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oil. The maximum ambient temperature for the motor’s operation is 40oC.
