The MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN is a servo motor with a housing designed for increased concentricity and run-out. The motor is manufactured by Bosch and is part of the MSK series of synchronous servo motors. It supports several built-in features such as a singleturn encoder, plain shaft, and an optional holding brake. The motor shaft is plain and includes a shaft seal. The seal wears out during operation. For this reason the shaft seal should be inspected on a periodic basis and replaced when required. The diameter of the shaft is 32 millimeters. Length of the shaft that is outside the housing is 60 millimeters. Centering diameter of the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN motor is 130 millimeters. The motor mounts through holes on the flange. Size of the motor flange is 165 millimeters. The length of MSK motors depends on frame size, the frame length and the type of integrated encoder.

The length of the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN motor is 444 millimeters. At the time of ordering you can select from one of six different encoders for your MSK motor. The integrated encoder is a singleturn encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface and 2048 signal periods. The optional holding brake operates according to the electrical release principle: it releases the shaft after application of a 24 Volts DC signal. Holding torque rating of the brake is 70 Nm. At the time of ordering you can select from four available options for the location of the electrical connection. On the MSK100C-0450-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN motor the electrical connection is on side A of the motor (the same direction as the shaft). The motor cools via natural convection. You can also use surface cooing to increase the rate of heat dissipation.
