The MSK family of servo motors, also known as the IndraDyn S motors are a group of synchronous motors with driving powers of varying degrees and different interfaces so they can be used in user-specific applications. They are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors in fields such as machine tools, robotics, metal forming machines, and food processing and packaging machines.

The MSK101E-0450-NN-S2-AG0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. For effective speed control and the adequate positioning of the motor by drive controllers, it features an integrated encoder system. The encoder here is a Singleturn optical encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface and a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. With its data memory, the encoder also ensures a quick and easy startup since it stores parameters like the motor type name, the control loop parameters and the motor parameters. The motor’s maximum speed is 6,000 rotations per minute and it has 4 pole pairs.

Coated in a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water, the MSK101E-0450-NN-S2-AG0-RNNN is highly resistant to damage by diluted acids/alkaline solutions, water, sea-water, sewage, and current mineral oils. It also displays a measure of resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oil. The motor has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 so that it is protected against penetration by dust and water jet.
