Product Description

The MSK050C-0450-NN-S3-UP0-NNNN synchronous servomotor must be stored and transported only in accordance with the specified instructions. This Bosch Rexroth motor is meant to be transported as well as stored only in horizontal orientation. The product features protection sleeves and covers that have to be removed only just before installation. The device should always be lifted only by means of cranes with loop lifting straps. This unit must be checked to see that it is in a de-energized state before any work is commenced on it. Its bolted connections for flange mounting should be able to withstand the weight of the motor and the forces acting on it during operation.

The product incorporates a keyway shaft as per DIN 6885-1 specifications. The device must be checked for the cleanliness of its components and threads before the mounting process. The electrical connection of the unit is to be performed only after the mechanical assembly. It is recommended to use the manufacturer’s cables to connect the motor as they have extreme load resistance and capacity along with an EMC-compliant design. The output direction of the connected encoder and power cables of the motor can be set with an adjustable flange socket. This flange socket should not be turned using any tools.

This motor is never meant to be commissioned if its connections and/or operating states are unclear or faulty. The product is equipped with four pole pairs. The device is equipped with a capacitive encoder that has 16 signal periods. The unit renders maintenance-free operation when it is subject to operation within the stipulated conditions. It must not be worked on in running state. The motor function tends to get adversely affected because of excessive dirt, dust, or chips. The bearings of the product are to be replaced if running noises occur. The motor comes with a warranty for one year and is transported in custom military-grade packaging.
