Product Description

The Bosch MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-AG0-NNNN is a Rexroth MSK servo motor. The following tests are conducted on MSK motors before they are shipped from the factory: high-voltage test, insulation resistance test, protective conductor connection, winding resistance test and concentricity and position tolerance of shaft end and mounting flange. The MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-AG0-NNNN motor provides feedback from an integrated multi-turn optical encoder with 128 signal periods which supports Hiperface. Power and feedback connector on the MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-AG0-NNNN can be rotated by 240 degrees Celsius. A holding brake is not available as a standard feature on the MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-AG0-NNNN motor. If required, motors with frame size 040 can be ordered with holding brakes rated for 4 Nm holding torque. The motor uses natural convection for cooling. Rated data for the motor are valid for 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude.

If the specified limits are exceeded, the performance data of the motor should be reduced. The output of the MSK040B-0600-NN-M1-AG0-NNNN derates to 80% of rated values at 55 degrees Celsius.
