This electrical motor is designed to be operated with a sophisticated drive controller which accurately controls the speed and position of the electrical motor in real-time. Also, an optical single-turn encoder is present in this industrial motor; this encoder operates with a system accuracy of about +20 angular seconds and can send about 16 777 216 bits of information to the drive controller per revolution of the motor. The encoder permits the absolute, indirect position recording within one mechanical motor rotation.

The MSK101C-0300-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN regulates its operational temperature via natural convection, however, if the motor is used in industrial applications that require a continuous start-stop operation, an additional air blower should be integrated with the converter to aid its temperature regulation process via surface cooling.
