Under ideal operating conditions, this industrial motor can maintain an operational efficiency as high as 95 percent for more than five years without breaking down, the motor also features a housing reinforced with high metal content to provide the motor with a high degree of protection and allow it to maintain its high operating efficiency even when it is being used in industrial conditions considered too harsh for convectional industrial machines.

The MSK071E-0450-FN-S1-UP0-NNNN features an integrated single turn hiperface optical encoder which provides the drive controller with the appropriate signals it requires to control the speed and position of the motor in real-time. The encoder is equipped with a data memory where configurational parameters are stored, the presence of this data memory aids the quick and easy start-up of the motor, and it also allows for an easy adaptation between the motor and the drive controller without the risk of damage to the motor. The system accuracy of the encoder present in this motor is about ±80 angular seconds, while the position resolution on the motor is about 1100000 bits of information per motor revolution.

The connection between this industrial motor and the drive controller occurs through the power cable which provides the motor with the electrical energy it requires for operation, and the motor feedback cable through which the digital signals generated by the motor’s encoder are sent to the drive controller.
