Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn S motors are synchronous servo motors with high-level flexibility. The MSK motors in this class are characterized by their high torque density and compact size. They are typically used in machine tools, robotics, and metal forming machines.

The MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-AP0-NNNN is an MSK motor model with a liquid cooling mechanism for heat elimination. This cooling system uses a coolant like water, which is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. Hence, the motor can be used for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The integrated encoder system of this motor is a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. It features a data memory where vital information like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored to facilitate risk-free adaptation to its drive controller. These filed parameters also promote the motor’s rapid start-up. The encoder uses the optical measurement principle and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds.

A shaft with a keyway, according to DIN 6885, is present in the MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-AP0-NNNN for the form-fitting transmission of torques. It is equipped with a radial shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluid penetration through the shaft.
