The MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN is an IP65 rated servo motor. Bosch Rexroth has designed the motor for commercial and industrial applications. Typical MSK motor applications include robotics, metal-forming machines, printing and paper-processing machines and machine tools. All personnel involved in motor handling must understand the corresponding notes regarding safety and intended use. Bosch does not permit any constructional modification to MSK motors. Any motor found damaged should not be installed. Installation of MSK motors should be according to instructions laid out in the product documentation. Bosch permits use of only approved accessories for MSK motors. A controller controls motor parameters such as speed and torque. Operators should perform controller configuration prior to system startup. MSK motors are convection-cooled devices. The optical working temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.

The encoder on the MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN is a singleturn optical encoder with support for Hiperface and 128 signal periods. Singleturn encoders provide feedback in less than a complete rotation of the motor shaft. Bosch also provides multiturn encoders for MSK motors.
