Product Description

Bosch Rexroth MSK Motors are powerful servo motors that have high-precision applications. They deliver a huge power spectrum with small size increments. The MSK060B-0300-NN-M3-UG1-NNNN has a 240° rotating plug to connect the encoders and the power source.  It has an integrated encoder system that controls the motor speed and positions the motor for the drive control system. The encoder has a memory where the motor type name and other operating parameters are stored. Furthermore, the memory ensures a quick machine start and synergy between the motor and drive controller, reducing damage.

It is equipped with an electrically releasing holding brake with a holding torque of 10 Nm, which stops the motor from rotating when power is turned off. It is built with a self-cooling system that dissipates heat by natural convection to ambient air. It has an inbuilt temperature monitoring system that uses temperature sensors and a temperature model to prevent irreversible heat damage to the motor. It should be operated at an ambient temperature of 0 °C – 40 °C and absolute air humidity of 29 g/m². It has an axial and radial shock load of 10 m/s² and 500 m/s², respectively, to prevent damage during transport and when not in use.

It is painted black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This protects the motor from damage caused by sewage, mineral oil, water, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions. It also boasts protection against organic solvents and hydraulic oil. The motor has a protection rating of IP 65 according to the IEC 60529. Its protection class ensures that it is dustproof and resistant to water jets.
