Product Description

The MSK040C-0600-NN-S3-UG1-NNNN synchronous servomotor is integrated with a 4Nm holding brake. The holding brake works on the electrically releasing principle. The Bosch Rexroth motor has four pole pairs. The device portrays a maximum operating temperature of 55°C. The drive used with the unit is to be brought to a standstill by using the machine-side control commands when the motor is being shut down. It should be cooled down completely before maintenance. The motor surface can take up to 140 minutes to cool down. The functioning of the device tends to be adversely affected because of excessive dust, dirt or chips. Its bearings must be replaced when there are running noises.

The protective conductor connection of the motor has to be checked for proper conditioning and tight seating at regular intervals. The machine in which the product is installed has to be disconnected from the power supply and the mains switch should be secured against reconnection before working on live parts. The heat dissipation of this motor is likely to be obstructed if it is dirty. This product must not be worked on when it has a hot surface. The device is fitted with a single-turn Hiperface capacitive encoder with 16 signal periods. The sealing point of the shaft of this unit must not be soiled or subject to dry running.

The motor tends to make running noises if there are foreign bodies within it or the bearing is damaged. The product and the supply lines are intended to be secured against falling before undoing its mechanical connections. The device must have its protective caps and sleeves fitted during operation and storage. It should be ensured that the unit is protected against direct sunlight during storage.
