Product Description

The Bosch Rexroth MSK050C-0450-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN synchronous servomotor is designed to support a maximum 1,000m elevation installation. The product must be installed as per the regulations listed out in the documentation. The device has to be utilized only in an area where no explosive atmosphere can occur during normal operation. This unit is intended to be operated only in the specifically mentioned combination and configuration of its components. It must never be utilized for those applications that are not specified by the manufacturer. The drive controller deployed in conjunction with the motor should be worked on only by qualified personnel. The synchronous motor tends to have a very hot housing during operation.

The holding brake of the motor is controlled by the drive controller. The product is cooled by natural convection. The device is integrated with an optical encoder with 2,048 signal periods. The unit must cool for up to 140 minutes after it has been switched OFF. It has a thermal time constant of 155 minutes. The motor housing has chances of getting corroded due to aggressive materials like coolants, salt mists, cutting oils and/or lubricants. The holding brake in this product is supposed to be utilized only when a drive-internal brake check is done and the motor is in standstill mode.

This device is UL Listed and CSA Certified. The unit houses a smooth and plain shaft with a radial shaft sealing ring. Its holding brake has a rated current of 0.65A. This brake can be kept connected for a maximum of 20ms and disconnected for up to 60 seconds. The motor is capable of operating with derated data at a maximum temperature of 55°C. It must be ensured that all the connectors are locked or securely tightened when the servomotor is in use.
