The Bosch Rexroth's MSK synchronous motors represent a state-of-the-art development in the servo motor industry. This status is due to features such as a compact construction, high torque density, and a remarkably high degree of precision. The MSK070D-0150-NN-M2-UP1-NNNN is a part of the MSK size 070 series. Due to its housing design, heat is dissipated using natural convection. At 20° C, it has a torque constant and winding resistance of 3.10 Nm/A and 3.20 ohms, respectively.  Also, similar to other models in this series, it has a total number of 6 pole pairs. Meanwhile, it features a plain output shaft with a radial sealing ring. Due to the resistant nature of the raw material used, the radial shaft sealing ring is protected against damage by oils and chemicals.

The MSK070D-0150-NN-M2-UP1-RNNN has a 23 Nm holding brake which operates via an electrical release. For power connection, it utilizes the flange socket RLS1201. According to DIN VDE 0110, this plug is classified in overvoltage category III. In addition, this MSK motor has a multiturn absolute optical encoder EnDat 2.1. With this encoder system, the absolute, indirect position of the motor is detected in less than 4096 mechanical rotations. Moreover, the absolute position remains stored on the motor, regardless of power disconnection.
