Product Description

The Bosch MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-AG2-RNNN is a servo motor. It belongs to the MSK series of industrial synchronous motors. Typical applications of MSK motors include packaging machines, robotics, machine tools and food-processing machines. Bosch provides device types with different driving powers and different interfaces for application-specific use of motors. Control and monitoring of MSK motors may require connection of additional sensors and actuators. Bosch allows use of MSK motors only with accessories specified in the product documentation. Components not specifically mentioned in the documentation must not be attached or connected to the motors. The controller connected to MSK motors must be programmed before system startup. Bosch provides torque-speed characteristics and technical data for two different temperature models: 60K temperature increase on the housing and 100K temperature increase on the motor winding.

For 60K temperature increase, the continuous torque and current at standstill are 28 Nm and 28.5 Amps. For 100K temperature increase, the continuous torque and current at standstill are 33 Nm and 33.6 Amps. Bosch provides axial and radial cooling fans for MSK motors. With these fans, operators can use the motors with surface cooling. The continuous current and torque with surface cooling are 42 Nm and 42.8 Amps. The MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-AG2-RNNN motor is equipped with an optical multiturn encoder with 2048 signal periods. The encoder has an EnDat 2.1 interface. The main shaft is plain and has a sealing ring. The MSK100B-0450-NN-M2-AG2-RNNN is an IP65 rated motor: the housing and cable connectors are fully sealed. The motor is also equipped with a 70 Nm electrically releasing holding brake.
