Product Description

The MSK071D-0200-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN synchronous servomotor assures safe operation if it is used as intended. The Bosch Rexroth product should not be used underwater. The device is cooled by natural convection. The unit has a C frame length. Its drive controller must be operated only if the application adheres to the national EMC regulations. The motor is intended to be touched only after about half an hour of turning it OFF so that its capacitors get discharged fully. The associated controller might move dangerously if the synchronous motor has defective components or it has an incorrect cable connection or wiring. The product encompasses a grounding connection that must always be connected before use.

The device is intended to be repaired and serviced only by authorized personnel. The housing can have a temperature as high as 155°C when it is being used. The connectors have to be securely locked and/or tightened during operation. These connectors have to always be dry and de-energized when they are connected or disconnected. The housing of the unit should always be protected against corrosion due to aggressive materials such as salt mists, cutting oils or lubricants. The holding brake must be activated when it is running only if there is a fault in the system.

The motor is meant to be installed after ensuring that it has a sufficiently high protection class for the application. The product uses an EnDat 2.1 multiturn absolute encoder with 4,096 distinguishable revolutions and 2,048 signal periods. This encoder helps in preserving the absolute position of the motor axis even after it is turned OFF. The holding brake in the motor has a maximum connection time of 35ms and a maximum disconnection time of 180ms. The motor housing is not leakproof because of the deterioration of gaskets and/or unavoidable temperature fluctuations. This servomotor is available with a warranty for one year and is shipped through reputed freight carriers.
