This industrial motor features a brushless design; unlike convectional industrial motors, it maintains high operational efficiency and can undergo continuous start-stop operations at a high repeat frequency. Although this industrial motor is designed to be perfectly safe for industrial operation, it is important for the configuration, installation, and general operation of the motor to be handled by industry professionals as the operation of the motor with the wrong cable accessories and configurational parameters can cause the dangerous movement of the motor when it is in operation.

The MSK071D-0450-NN-M2-UG1-RNNN industrial motor features an electrically releasing holding brake, which helps keep the load connected to the motor’s output shaft in pace even when the motor is not in operation. The holding brake used with this motor operates with an input current of about 0.79 amperes and a rated voltage of about 24 volts. Also, the holding torque of this brake is about 23-newton meters. Integrated into this industrial motor are special grease-lubricated ball bearings designed to reduce the frictional heat generated by this industrial motor during operation; these ball bearings have a service life of about 30,000 hours; however, this can be significantly reduced by the overloading of the motor during operation.
