The Bosch Rexroth MSK061C-0300-NN-M1-BG1-NNNN is an advanced servo motor. It includes an optical encoder. This encoder is a multiturn encoder that provides feedback in multiple shaft rotations. The encoder supports Hiperface protocol and is rated for 128 signal periods. The function of the encoder is to measure motor speed and torque and send this information to the drive controller. The feedback from the encoder is sent through a dedicated feedback cable that terminates on a feedback connector on the motor. Another cable connects the motor with the drive controller. This cable carries electrical power for the motor. This power cable terminates on a power connector on the motor. Both the power and feedback connectors on the MSK061C-0300-NN-M1-BG1-NNNN are 240-degree rotatable. The MSK061C-0300-NN-M1-BG1-NNNN also includes an electrically-releasing holding brake that is rated for 10 Nm holding torque.
