Product Description

The MSK servo motors are a group of synchronous motors in the IndraDyn S family. They can be combined with the control units of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system to build other kinds of high-performance drive systems. They are also commonly used as rotary main and servo drive motors in robotics, machine tools, packaging and food processing machines.

The MSK070D-0150-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is a model of the servo motors in the MSK series of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. It has a frame size of 070 and a frame length of D. Its integrated encoder is a single-turn encoder with an Hiperface interface. This encoder uses the optical measuring principle and records the absolute, indirect position of the motor within one mechanical motor rotation. Its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it features a data memory where key motor parameters are stored. This data memory aids the rapid startup of the motor, and promotes its safe and seamless adaptation to its drive controller.

The cooling method of the MSK070D-0150-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN is natural cooling. In this cooling method, the heat generated during the operation of the motor is dissipated through convection to the ambient air at the site of operation and onto the machine construction. The motor also features a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring that ensures the non-positive, shaft-hub connection of the motor and ensures its quiet running. It is equipped with an electrically-released holding brake of 23Nm holding torque. The holding brake holds the axis when the machine is de-energized. It works with a rated voltage of 24V and a rated current of 0.79A. The Ingress Protection rating of this MSK model is IP 65 according to EN 60529.
