Product Description

The Bosch MSK050B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN is a servomotor designed with increased concentricity and run-out in compliance with DIN 42955. It is part of the MSK product line from Bosch Rexroth. It is meant to be used with a Bosch drive controller.  The optical singleturn encoder on the motor provides feedback about motor speed and position to the controller. This feedback is compared with desired motor parameters that are programmed into the drive controller. The output of the controller is adjusted, if required, so that motor parameters closely match the desired parameters. This is an example of closed-loop control and is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The encoder on the MSK050B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN motor provides feedback within one shaft revolution and has an EnDat 2.1 interface. A holding brake is not available on the motor but can be ordered if required.

The MSK050B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN motor has a smooth shaft with sealing ring. The function of the seal on the shaft is to prevent leakage of oil from the motor and to prevent ingress of dust and moisture from the environment. The seal undergoes wear and requires periodic replacement. The IP65 protection rating of the motor can be increased to IP67 by using sealing air accessories. The MSK050B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN motor is designed for convection cooling. The heat is dissipated via natural convection to the ambient air and via heat conduction to the machine structure. The nominal data are achieved at ambient temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius. Unhindered vertical convection needs to be ensured by a sufficient distance of 100 millimeters to the adjacent components on the side surfaces. The connectors on the motor can be rotated by 240 degrees.
