Product Description

The Bosch MSK100C-0300-NN-M1-RP2-NNNN is an industrial servo motor. It belongs to the MSK product line. Typical MSK motor applications include machine tools, robotics, food-processing machines and printing machines. Bosch only allows use of approved accessories for MSK motors. A drive controller works with the motor to control motor output torque and shaft speed. An operator programs the controller. Control programming should be done prior to system commissioning. The MSK100C-0300-NN-M1-RP2-NNNN is a motor with several integrated features. These features include a holding brake, an encoder and a shaft with a keyway. In addition to the keyway, the motor shaft also includes a shaft seal. The keyway on the shaft complies with DIN 6885-1. Through prevention of relative rotation, the keyway ensures effective torque transfer. The integrated motor encoder is an optical multiturn encoder.

The motor encoder supports the Hiperface protocol. The holding brake works according to the electrical release principle. Its holding torque rating is 70 Nm. The brake releases the motor shaft and allows it to spin only after application of a 24 Volts DC electrical signal. There are four options for the electrical connection on MSK100C motors. Customers have to specify the desired option at the time of equipment ordering. On the MSK100C-0300-NN-M1-RP2-NNNN motor, the electrical socket is on the right side of the housing. The motor has a standard housing design and cools via natural convection. The rated output of the motor is valid for 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude.  Any deviation from these specified values leads to motor output derating. The servo motor surface is painted black. The protection class of the motor housing is IP65.
