The motor is fitted with a type plate featuring the device designation and technical information. The details on the type plate help in its identification and procurement of spare parts in times of failure. The device must be handled properly using lifting sling belts, eyebolts or chain suspensions to avoid injury. The unit storage is to be done in a dry and dust-free environment free of vibration. It is likely to get damaged due to the impact on its shaft. This motor must be transported only in horizontal orientation.

The product must be worked on only by trained and qualified personnel. The device is meant to be mounted only after checking its components for visual damage. The unit has a standard smooth shaft with a radial shaft sealing ring. It has to be ensured that no liquid enters the synchronous motor through its shaft when the installation is done in the vertical orientation. The tightening torque must be ensured when the motor is connected to the machine. The product connection should be done using only the manufacturer’s cables as far as possible.
