The 4PP Power Panel Series from B&R Automation offers a family of integrated Power Panels that combine an operator interface and PLC controller into a single compact device.
This series includes the B&R Power Panel 15, 21, 35, and 41 models, providing automation solutions scaled for small and midsize machine and system applications. Each Power Panel includes a powerful PLC CPU for control capabilities as well as integrated digital and analog I/O for interfacing with field devices. A range of display options can also be selected, from a basic 4 x 20-character text display up to a high resolution 1⁄4 VGA graphic display. The PP21 and PP41 models include additional features for expanded control and interfacing. Both include six slots for B&R SYSTEM 2003 screw-in modules, three of which can support added functions like event counting, trigger functions, stepper motor control, frequency measurement or communication capabilities. The Power Panel 41 also works with an expansion module that enables the use of B&R SYSTEM 2005 interface module inserts. Additional standard features on these larger models include a PCMCIA slot, one potential-free relay contact, 24VDC power supply, RS232 interface, and CAN bus connectivity.
