The B&R 4PP Power Panel series (Power Panel 15, 21, 35, and 41) combines an operator panel and a PLC controller in one device for small to midsize machines and systems.
Depending on the model, it supports display variants ranging from a 4×20 character text display to a 3-inch 160×80 pixel display and up to a ¼ VGA graphic display, with different key counts and character sets by type. Each Power Panel includes an integrated PLC CPU and onboard I/O, with configurations that provide digital inputs/outputs and, on certain variants, analog inputs/outputs as well as special input functions such as event counting or incremental encoder/gate/period measurement. The PP21 and PP41 versions add modular expandability with multiple slots for B&R SYSTEM 2003 screw-in modules, and the PP41 can be expanded to operate B&R SYSTEM 2005 interface module inserts. The series is powered from 24 VDC and provides standard interfaces such as RS232 and CAN, with engineering workflows handled in B&R Automation Studio for both visualization development and CPU programming.
