Product Description:
The 4PP Power Panels series includes the B & R Automation 4PP450.0571-K14. It sports a 5.7-inch TFT color screen and a touch screen that works with analogue signals. It features an Intel Atom CPU, operates on 24 V DC, and requires around 7 W of power. The front of the item is protected by IP65. Like all the other PP41 series members, the 4P3040.00-K28 works well on a 24 V DC bus and can handle short trips to 18 V and 30 V.
This means it works with most shop-floor power profiles without any problems.
Depending on how the cabinet is set up, optional additions like screw terminal blocks, PCMCIA flash cards and even specialty expansion modules may move with the unit. To keep the circuit boards and passive components in good shape for the intended service life, store the device within the manufacturer's recommended temperature and humidity ranges. If impossible, park it far outside those ranges.
The Power Panel 300 and Power Panel 400 families from B&R Automation are built on product topologies that have been around for a long time.
The 300 series has a firmware stack based on the BIOS, whereas the 400 series uses completely embedded device platforms. Power Panel 300 consoles can run Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE, making them suitable for almost any industrial job. Seeing web-terminal views, and hosting SCADA can be accomplished all from one unit. That wide range makes the 300 line a good choice for places where personnel need to work with machinery or keep an eye on operations from afar. The Power Panel 400 series is distinctive because it acts as a nervous system instead of merely a display. These displays put all of the automation logic, control loops, and command signals under one strong cover.
