Processing tasks are handled by a Geode LX800 CPU that runs at 500 MHz, a speed adequate for local logic execution and visualization without lag. The image is presented on a 15 in (381 mm) TFT with a native resolution of 1024 × 768, giving clear graphics and alarm texts. Dynamic content is buffered by 8 MB of graphics memory, and the operating system uses 128 MB SDRAM for trend storage and recipe handling. Non-volatile code resides in 2 MB of flash, while 512 kB of SRAM supports retentive variables when power is removed.
