4PP420.0571-K14 is an industrial operator panel. It is part of the Power Panel 400 series from B&R Automation. The panel has a touch-enabled color TFT display with QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution. The display size is 5.7 inches. The touchscreen type is AMT and the technology is analog resistive. It has a Geode LX800 processor operating at 500 MHz clock frequency. L1 cache size on the processor is 128 KB and the L2 cache size is 128 kB. The panel has 2 MB of flash memory for firmware storage. A heat sink provides passive cooling. A battery-backed real-time clock provides 30 ppm per day accuracy at 25 degrees Celsius. The graphics controller is Geode LX800 with 8 MB shared memory. Capacity of onboard SRAM is 512 KB and this memory is backed up by an onboard battery.
An integrated RS-232 serial interface with modem support provides data transmission at up to 115 kbps. The UART on the interface is 16C550 compatible with a 16-byte buffer. There are two USB interfaces: one is a USB 1.1 interface and the second one is a USB 2.0 interface. Data transfer rates includes 1.5 Mbps (low speed), 12 Mbps (full speed) and 480 Mbps (high speed). Current carrying capacity of the USB interfaces is 500 milliamps per connection. One Ethernet interface is also available. It has an Intel 82551ER controller and supports 10/100 Mbps data transfer rates. The 4PP420.0571-K14 operator panel includes one aPCI slot. It can operate at 18 to 30 Volts DC input and draws 0.5 Amps under normal conditions. Power consumption of the unit is typically 12 Watts. Protection category of the front side of the unit is IP65 and for the rear side is it IP20.
