Product Description:

The 4PP220.0571-K05 Power Panel of B&R Automation provides robust performance with advanced features such as USB connectivity, ethernet support and vibration resistance which is designed for industrial environments that require reliability, energy efficiency and customizable expansion options.

The 4PP220.0571-K05 power panel is equipped with two Universal Serial Bus ports that are compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 standard which means it can connect to a variety of peripherals as it offers both low speed and high speed data transfer rates. This module has no intentional resistance to bleed off current which means there is no resistor to limit or dissipate any residual charge left in the circuit which ensures a more direct path for current flow. It can experience a surge of current of up to 2.8 amperes only upon powering up which is common when electrical equipment is first activated. This power module has a mass of 3900 grams, indicative of its robust and durable construction which suggests the use of high strength materials to ensure demanding industrial environments and resist mechanical stress associated with rigorous operation.

This 4PP220.0571-K05 power panel is designed with galvanic isolation which means that electrical sections of the system are electrically isolated from each other which prevents unwanted current flow between sections and protects sensitive components from voltage spikes or faults in the circuit. Its outer structure is made from aluminum which is lightweight yet strong and it is also naturally anodized that gives the aluminum an additional protective oxide layer to enhance its resistance to corrosion. It withstands continuous vibrations from 2 to 9 Hz at 1.75 mm amplitude and 9 to 200 Hz at 0.5 g which makes it ideal for environments with persistent mechanical vibrations.
