The 4PP280.1505-B5 power panel series is a state-of-the-art industrial controller designed by B & R Automation to improve industrial control and communication processes. It is a compact controller with a Geode SC2200 processor, floating point unit, and an Expanded command set. Apart from the controller, the display unit integrated into this product rivals the most advanced panelware used for visualization in industrial applications. The display is a Color Thin Film Transistor Display which has a diagonal length of about 15 inches, and can display more than 16,000,000 different colors. The resolution of this display unit is 1024 x768 pixels, while the contrast is about 300:1. The 4PP280.1505-B5 is also equipped with a background light of 330 candelas per meter square; this light has a lifespan of 35,000 hours after which the brightness intensity will reduce to half of its original value.
The 4PP280.1505-B5 power panel features the analog resistive touch screen technology and pressure sensitive keys. These two interaction options provide customers with a higher level of control over the operation of the servo system. The touch screen technology in the panel is controlled by a Hampshire serial controller, it has a degree of transmission of 78 per cent and produces 12-bit process image.
