The 4PP045.IF24-1 is a 3-in-1 interface module designed by B&R Automation for power panels under the PP45 product series. It has three communication interfaces that extend the available communication ports of compatible PP45 power panels. The 4PP045.IF24-1 offers one Profibus DP slave interface, RS232, and RS485/RS422. Overall, this interface module provides two 9-pin DSUB connectors. The first 9-pin DSUB connector provides an interface for both the RS232 and RS485/RS422 communication protocols. The second 9-pin DSUB connector is for the Profibus DP slave. In terms of transfer rate, both IF1 (RS232) and IF2 (RS485/RS422) may reach a maximum transfer rate of 115.2 kbit/s, while IF3 (Profibus DP slave) may reach a higher maximum transfer rate of 12 Mbit/s.
