The 4PP220.1505-75 power panel is built by B & R automation according to international product quality and safety standards. This Panel features the latest automation technology that allows it to carry out the functions of industrial panel PCs while maintaining its role as a Panelware. The processor of this power panel is the Geode SC 2200; the computing power of this processor is more than double that of conventional control devices. This processor also has a floating point unit and dissipates excess heat through the integrated heatsink. There is also a 12-kilobyte L1 cache memory in this device. The 4PP220.1505-75 power panel does not contain any keys on its front Panel. Control operation is directly communicated through its Gunaze touch screen, which is equipped with analog resistive touch screen technology.
The 4PP220.1505-75 power panel is designed to seamlessly function with peripheral devices, which can be connected using the USB interface, serial interface or Ethernet communication interface. The USB interfaces in this product are installed behind it; they are a type A connection and maintain a transfer rate of up to 12 megabits per second at full speed. The series interface is 16550-compatible; it operates with a 16-byte first-in-first-out protocol.
The display of the 4PP220.1505-75 power panel is a monochromatic Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that can show up to 8 shades of grey; this display maintains a contract of 25:1 and a resolution of 320x240 pixels.
