The 4PP420 0571-K49 is a power panel designed by B & R Automation for the operation control of small to medium-sized industrial machines. This panel is a touch-screen device with a high-resolution display. Apart from the operation interface provided by this product, it is also equipped with a sophisticated Geode LX800 processing unit that operates with an average clock frequency of 500 megahertz. The processor in this product also features an L1 and L2 cache capacity of 128 kilobytes respectively. The design of this product includes a front panel that is designed to withstand interference from dust and water splash according to the IP65 protection category. The frame of this front panel is made of anodized aluminum, while its membrane is made from polyester material. The housing itself is made from metallic material and weighs a total of 1.7 kilograms.
There is a flash memory with a capacity of 2 megabytes on the 4PP420 0571-K49 power panel unit, and a DDR SDRAM memory with a capacity level of approximately 128 megabytes is also present. The heat produced in this product during operation is safely handled and dissipated to the environment through a passive process involving an integrated heatsink. An Ethernet connection interface is integrated into this product; the transfer rate through this interface is between 10 to about 100 megabits per second. It also uses an RJ45 twisted pair cable for connection.
The touch screen technology in the 4PP420 0571-K49 industrial motor is an analogue resistive technology; its degree of transmission is determined to be as high as 80 per cent. There is a background light with a brightness of about 220 candela per meter square on this motor unit; this background light has a service life of about 50,000 hours. It is possible to use this product at an altitude as high as 3000 meters; however, above 1000 meters, significant derating is to be expected.
