B & R Automation has been manufacturing long-lasting and problem-solving machines for industrial applications for more than 35 years of operation. The 4PP281.1505-B5 is one of the state-of-the-art power panels that improves automation processes by providing customers with an amazing visualization interface and carrying out automation control functions that were previously restricted to Industrial PC units. The computation operation carried out by this product is done in the Geode SC 2200 processor installed in its housing unit; the processor operates in combination with the MMX technology and a floating point unit. Also, there is streaming SMD extension, and a cache memory of 16 kilobytes. The 4PP281.1505-B5 processor is generally classified under two main protection categories. Its front panel belongs to the IP65 protection and can easily withstand interference from dust, solid substances and other external interference. The back panel, on the other hand, belongs to IP20 and should be protected from these contaminations.
The 4PP281.1505-B5 can be controlled through pressure keys or directly through the touch sensitive screen. The touch screen technology is the analogue resistive technology with a Hampshire serial controller. Since the power panel is touch-sensitive, it does not feature any filter glass for additional protection.
