The 4PP420-0571-K04 is a human-machine interface panel with an integrated controller produced by B&R Automation within the 4PP Power Panels series. The unit combines visualization, operator input, and control logic in a single enclosure so it can run decentralized machinery without an external PC. In a typical industrial line, it bridges field devices and supervisory networks, letting operators issue commands, view status data, and make parameter adjustments directly at the machine.

The front face carries a 5.7 in diagonal screen built on the QVGA resolution grid, and the image is rendered by a Color TFT display layer that provides clear contrast for process graphics. A touch sensor overlays the glass, enabling finger or gloved interaction with on-screen elements. Communication with higher-level systems is handled by an Ethernet port that auto-negotiates at 10/100 Mbit/s, while a separate RS232 channel supports legacy serial links.
