The B&R Automation 4PP Power Panel, model 4PP045.0571-K03, is an operator interface with compact size and flexibility.
All visual displays, alarms, and controls are connected by this powerful panel's clearer and more vibrant graphics, which include a 4.3-inch TFT color touchscreen with 480 x 272-pixel resolution. The analog resistive touch technology is suitable for a tough industrial environment since even operating gloves cannot render inaccurate and unreliable input. The 600 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, together with 256 MB of DDR2 RAM, provides a responsive action and fast data manipulation during visualization and control activities. The panel has 128 MB of flash memory that can be used to store application software, user interfaces, and data logging requirements. Network connection is provided through a 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet port to ensure reliable communication with control systems and plant networks, and a USB 2.0 type A host port allows straightforward connection of peripheral devices to transfer and update data.
The power supply is a 24 VDC system with an input range of 18 V to 30 VDC, which is within acceptable ranges, and it is normally consuming 6 W, only with the panel being designed in an energy-efficient manner to fit into newer control cabinets.
