The 4PP065.IF10-1 is a compatible interface module by B&R Automation for PP65 industrial power panels. Like other IF10 interface modules, the 4PP065.IF10-1 provides an interface for the RS232 serial communication protocol. It also has an optional accessory called the PC-PLC/PW cable, which can be used for interfacing a programming device with another CPU. The 4PP065.IF10-1 only has one interface available with a 9-pin male connector. The interface IF1 for RS232 facilitates data transfer using a dedicated UART-type 16C550-compatible controller. At optimal conditions, the 4PP065.IF10-1 has a maximum transfer rate of 115.2 kbps over a maximum distance of 15 meters. Although interface 1 is not network-capable, it employs an input filter that serves as a protective circuit.
