The 4PP120.1043-31 operator terminal is produced by B&R Automation as part of the 4PP Power Panels series. The unit combines an embedded controller front end, a color display, and a touch interface in a single panel that mounts directly on machine enclosures. It is intended to visualize process variables and let operators enter setpoints, acknowledgments, and mode changes without separate keyboards or external PCs. Because the processing electronics are mounted behind the screen, cabinet depth is conserved and field wiring is reduced.
Its display delivers a luminance of 350 cd/m² and maintains image definition with a contrast ratio of 600:1. A color TFT panel renders 256 colors at a native resolution of 640 × 480 pixels across a 10.4 inch (264 mm) diagonal, giving the interface a familiar VGA-class layout for machine graphics and status screens. Touch input is captured by an analog resistive layer that transmits 78% of the backlight, allowing finger or stylus actuation when gloves are worn. The panel housing measures 323 mm in width, 260 mm in height, and 65.5 mm in depth, and operation is supplied from a regulated 24 VDC ±25 % source commonly used in control cabinets.
