The 4PP420.1043-K24 is one of B&R Automation’s most advanced and sophisticated power panels that employ the Automation Runtime boot loader. Visually, this electrical module has a flat touch screen front panel, which allows the user to control the device using touch inputs. The device incorporates a color thin-film transistor display with a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. Assuming this panel is operated at half-brightness through its lifetime, the device has an estimated service life of 55000 hours. To facilitate reliable transmission of analog touchscreen inputs, this panel utilizes a 12-bit Elo serial controller. Considering the type of technology and controller employed by this device, the touch screen has a degree of transmission of up to 80%.
To operate at nominal and rated values, the 4PP420.1043-K24 must be connected to a power supply with a rated voltage of 24 VDC. Aside from its impressive display, this device is also preferred for a wide variety of automation tasks and systems due to its powerful set of peripherals and connection ports.
