The 4PP452.0571-65 Power Panel is an integrated human-machine interface manufactured by B&R Automation within the 4PP Power Panels series. The unit combines an embedded controller with a color display and touch input, so it can execute visualization tasks and machine control logic directly at the installation point without requiring a separate PC in many automation cells. It is intended for mounting on control cabinet doors where commands are entered, process variables are monitored, and data is exchanged with higher-level networks. Because control and visualization are housed in one device, the panel can reduce cabinet hardware and simplify the connection between the machine interface and the control system.
Processing is handled by a Geode LX800 500 MHz CPU, which gives the panel enough headroom for local visualization and soft PLC tasks. Its volatile storage consists of 64 MB DDRAM, while configuration and boot code reside in a 2 MB flash device that withstands repeated power cycles. The electronics are fed from a single 24 VDC supply, which fits standard control cabinet power rails.
