The 4PP420.0571-K40 is a compact Touch panel for automation systems in an industrial environment. The touch panel's glass is transparent for the correct touch response. The quality assurance tag is signed on all flex cables.
The 4PP420.0571-K40 touch panel offers 128 MB SDRAM and 512 kB SRAM with a CompactFlash Type I slot for additional expansion. The panel offers a single aPCI slot for expansion, a serial RS232 interface, and operates on a 24 VDC power supply. The panel is mounted vertically and features a storage temperature of -20°C to 70°C. The touch screen features a flat flexible cable (FFC/FPC) for signal transmission and a clear glass front for input. Three kinds of touch panels are available: Type A with 2.2 mm glass thickness and top-right FPC ribbon connector, Type B with 122 mm × 95.5 mm active area and side-left connector, and Type C with a larger active area and bottom-center connector direction. All are marked with a "TEST OK" quality label on the flex cable, have resistive touch technology, and are designed for modular interface connection to peripheral process control devices. The compactness of the panel is well-suited for series machine production, in which control and visualization are to be integrated.
