The Dynapar Encoders series is a family of industrial incremental feedback devices that includes optical and magnetic sensing designs in both hollow-shaft and solid-shaft configurations for motion-control and motor-mount applications.
Across the range, available resolutions extend from low-pulse versions up to 10,000 pulses per revolution, with standard quadrature A/B signals and optional index channels for position reference. The series supports multiple electrical interfaces, including open collector, push-pull, differential line driver, and RS422-based outputs, with supply options spanning low-voltage 5 V systems through wider 5–26 VDC and 10–30 VDC installations depending on the model. Mechanical and installation options include multiple shaft and bore sizes, synchro, clamping, square, and motor-mount styles, along with cable exits and connector choices such as M12, M16, M23, MS, KPT, and industrial latching formats. These encoders are built for demanding environments with features such as sealed housings, IP65 to IP67 protection levels, reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection, and resistance to shock, vibration, washdown, and high-temperature industrial operating conditions.
