Product Description:

The Danaher G0524857 is an incremental optical encoder, from the Dynapar Encoders series that features precise conductivity. It has a resolution of 1 to 2540 pulses per revolution (PPR) which makes it ideal for industrial motion control. It boasts an aluminum body and has a stainless-steel shaft to ensure that it is long-lasting. This encoder possesses input power ranging from 5 VDC to 26 VDC, which makes it suitable for industrial systems. Also, it supports resolutions of up to 10,000 RPM with resolutions less than or equal to 1024 PPR, making it suitable for high-speed applications.

The G0524857 encoder utilizes the dual channel quadrature output signal format with available Index (Z) for precise position determination. The protection type of this particular model includes reverse polarity and short circuits that guarantee safe usage. The encoder is available with a wide variety of output options such as 7273 open collectors, 7272 push-pull and differential line driver to help integrate with the different control systems. Its tested frequency range of operation is 100 kHz and above, making the device perfect for use in industries that have high frequencies.

It is capable of functioning in harsh environments, with internal temperature of the G0524857 ranging from 0 to 70 degrees C (up to 85 degrees C for certain models) and the shock with up to 50G's, as well as vibration with 5-2000 Hz at 20G. It also has counterpart enclosure ratings, which include NEMA 12/IP54 and NEMA 4/IP66 which ensures protective resistance to dust, water and harsh weather conditions. The Danaher G0524857 Dynapar Encoder is built to be tough, has a high resolution, and various protection options to ensure that it can be used in a wide range of precise motion control applications.
