Product Description:
The F141000/6XF0107 is an incremental feedback encoder manufactured by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoders series. It mounts on a motor or machine shaft to translate rotation into digital signals that downstream controls interpret for velocity, direction, and commutation. By providing incremental tracks and six commutation poles, the device supplies real-time position data for servo loops in packaging equipment, printing lines, and automated pick-and-place axes. This electronic conversion supports closed-loop regulation without the need for mechanical potentiometers.
The incremental resolution is rated at 1000 PPR, so every revolution generates one thousand pulse cycles representing shaft displacement in increments of 0.36 mechanical degrees. The electronics respond at frequencies up to 250 kHz, allowing those pulses to be reproduced accurately even at shaft speeds approaching 12,000 rpm. Power is supplied at 5 VDC ±10%, and the differential 26LC31 line driver delivers complementary A, B, and index signals for noise-resistant transmission over twisted-pair cabling. Incremental angular error is held within ±2.5 arc-min, while the commutation channels remain within ±6 arc-min to maintain correct brushless servo phase advance. A bore tolerance of +0.001/-0.000 in accommodates standard motor shafts, and axial float of up to ±0.060 in is accepted without loss of signal integrity.
The encoder electronics and driver pair draw up to 175 mA of supply current. Installation uses a 16-pin, 2 mm header that groups the incremental and commutation outputs in one connector. Mechanical mounting permits radial misalignment within ±15° mechanical and limits shaft runout to 0.002 in to help prevent excessive wear. The unit withstands shocks of 100 G for 6 ms and continuous vibration near industrial servo motors. Operation is permitted at a relative humidity of up to 90% noncondensing, allowing the encoder to function in humid industrial settings without moisture condensing on its internal electronics.
